GENERAL JOB

The Lean Facilitation Support Services will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and facilitating Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives within schedules and priorities assigned by the Government.

Essential Primary Job Functions
  • Analyze various maintenance processes and procedures and provide recommendations to resolve substantive issues of effectiveness and productivity of work operations.

  • Apply AFSO21 methodology principles and tools to the various services.

  • Reduce waste and improve efficiency.

  • Correlate all aspects of major project areas studied and define visions of business processes to achieve the desired future state.

Secondary Primary Job Functions
  • May be required to train other Lean Facilitation Analysts and government personnel in the proper use, safe design, and improvements required for sustaining the support of Lean Facilitation Services.

  • Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with all applicable security and safety regulations and OSHA standards.

JOB SKILLS
Required 
  • Perform studies involving quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

  • Provide analysis of current operations.

  • Deliver electronic copies of any products.

Education and Experience for Lean Facilitation Analyst
  • Must possess a valid Secret Security Clearance adjudicated in the last five (5) years.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a logistics related field.

  • Must have four (4) years of experience providing Lean Facilitation Services.

  • Must be Green Belt Certified in Lean Six Sigma.

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of maintenance, production policies, principles, and practices.

  • Must have an extensive knowledge of a wide range of Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century (AFSO21) and qualitative and quantitative methods used in conducting studies of major project areas that require application of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) principles.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics are representative of those performing essential functions of the job in an industrial production and repair environment and general office setting. Must be able to work sitting or standing. · May be required to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted. Minor cuts and scrapes are to be expected. Possible minor burns or shock from operating electrical equipment and or soldering equipment may be present. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be expected to be worn and used when required. Standard work week generally applies; however, candidate will be expected to work as the requirement dictates.
