GENERAL JOB
Senior Industrial Engineer Technician (IT3) Support Services perform complex studies for repair, overhaul, manufacture, and modification of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), and test stations in support of major weapon systems. Manage workloads within cost and schedule and performance and maintain compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Perform process improvement, layout designs and cost analysis.
Essential Primary Job Functions

Plan packages, establish labor standards, identify, and procure equipment, develop, and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) and Work Control Documents (WCDs). Independently, perform studies of large, complex projects, and research technical data and interview technicians to ensure shops have technical data, tools, equipment, WCDs, material and parts needed to complete the mission.

Perform research, plan, and initiate job acceptance for programmed and non-programmed workloads. Select codes for skills, equipment, and work centers. Identify and obtain tooling, blueprints, provisioning data, technical data, and test equipment. Establish and validate End Item Sales Prices (EISP) and ensure funding is in place before assets are inducted.

Develop and revise standards for labor, material, equipment, and facility standards for shop workloads. Analyze workloads to effectively plan labor and equipment support and maintain documentation of labor, WCDs and BOMs in maintenance systems. Calculate flow days and examine processes and methods to ensure flow times are minimized. Assist in the development of budgets and labor rates.

Research material. Determine piece parts required for repair. Identify alternate sources and methods to obtain piece-parts. Initiate requests for non-stock listed items and coordinate with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for processing. Assist in long-range forecasting.

May be required to train other Industrial Engineer Technicians and government personnel in the proper use, safe design, and improvements required for sustaining the support of Industrial Engineering Services.

Education and Experience for Senior Industrial Engineer Technician (IT3)

Must be a United States Citizen with a valid passport.

Must possess a valid Secret Security Clearance adjudicated in the last five (5) years.

Must have a High School Diploma and GED OR a Technical School Degree or Certification in a scientific, engineering, or technical field.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience to include at least two (2) years performing production planner duties for depot level maintenance using G004L,

G005M, JEDMICS, and LDMS.

Must have experience with Bill of Material development and management, labor standard development, review, work control document development, parts research, parts kitting, and evaluation of technical data and potential capacity.

Must have the ability to develop and revise standards (including labor, material, and equipment) in support of shop workloads.

Must have the ability to achieve and support quality improvement in all products and services.

Must have knowledge of a variety of engineering technical processes and techniques to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards, Methods Time Measurement (MTM), and layout design.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics are representative of those performing essential functions of the job in an industrial production and repair environment and general office setting. Must be able to work sitting or standing. · May be required to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted. Minor cuts and scrapes are to be expected. Possible minor burns or shock from operating electrical equipment and or soldering equipment may be present. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shall be expected to be worn and used when required. Standard work week generally applies; however, candidate will be expected to work as the requirement dictates.
